MB W204, VW Polo, Audi R8 V10 - SOLD.
ctgilles eyelid LED feedback thread.
Since the 1st group buy (GB) thread was closed I thought a thread discussing the LEDs themselves would be appropriate.
For those not aware:
1) LED picture thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...re-thread.html
2) 1st GB thread (now closed): https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...yelid-led.html
3) 2nd GB thread (still open): https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...group-buy.html
Please post here when you get your LEDs!

I finally put my 5000K's back on the car (were in another testing environment +14V) and have asked my father to use DRL and check them once in a while (it's really hot here). They have been good in all tests and don't flicker.
Don't forget that there are resistors on the bottom! I had to take tweezers and "correct" the plug inside my right light a bit to make it fit. Oddly enough the left side had no problems so I retested it with a halogen W5W and I found out that my plug is bent But I got them in and they work fine so I'm not buying a new headlight assembly just for that

I think we have a winner folks. Installed mine tonight... Only did a short "purple" test... But after 15 minutes, they still hadn't turned purple.
Go Tintin and Schtoumps! That's a Belgium reference for those not in the know... Thanks CTG!

The eyelid on the driver's side in pics 1-3 are the 5000k while the one on the passenger's side are the stock bulbs (no offense to Azn's LEDs which I took out). Both 5000k LEDs are shown in pics 4-5.

I like the red of your car, looks better and better everytime you see it
Glad to see the LEDs functioning in other cars. Now a LED solution for those fogs!
Does the new E-class have error cancelers for those LED strips or are they just unmonitored? You could use that system to put H7 LED bulbs in the fogs

I just went for a cruise in the sun with all my lights on. Front LEDs stay the same color and the rear ones (Xenonkungen) give a purple shine on my license plate. Looks cool
