Almost a week after purchasing my C300 the rear brake light stopped working. Does anyone have instructions on accessing the brake light?

yea just take it to the dealer. it should be covered under warranty.

It is covered under warranty but I'd rather just get the job done myself. That & I don't need the dealership to be poking their noses in my car.

Interesting thought process...but you may have more than just a simple bulb out...I would take it to the dealer.

Just remove the access panel from inside trunk.

Isn't the third brake light LEDs? If so you won't be able to fix it.

I had the same problem...but mine was a few months after I got the car. In my case it wasn't just a bulb that was out...the entire rear brake light assembly had to be replaced. It was on back order and took about a week to come in. All covered under warranty.

Even if it is just a bulb they are LEDs so I dont think you can do it yourself...besides it is a huge PITA to get access to the bulbs anyway. Just go to the dealer

Love the photo. Looks like six knuckleheads ignored the well known fact that the highway to Whistler is heavily patrolled and tipped off by residents along the way.

haha thanks, actually 7 in the photo but there were actually over 20 cars out that day

one group was a little slower =P and passed by our group even though they were same type of cars the cops are stupid =P
