REMUS QUAD TIP EXHAUST GROUP BUY ANYONE?
I've been searching for the right solution for combining a quad tip exhaust with a C63 diffuser. I've seen some great work here on customizing tips . I also found a thread which addressed the REMUS exhaust, which looks great, is reasonably priced at $1006, but is only single tip. The unit is Mercedes W204 C350 3.5l C300 [509007 0517R/L] on the site:remusexhaustshop.com.
They still only make a single tip, but if enough of us are interested, a group buy could be possible. Note the group buy section on their site. SO.....anyone interested?

Was already tried once, but without sound clips, couldn't generate enough interest. And Remus wouldn't step up to bat in providing one. Maybe you'll get more hits this time around. Good luck.

You are absolutely correct, but that was also over the last year, and with so much discussion on quad tips, I thought there might be enough quad tip interest among newer owners to get, maybe, a dozen or so members to justify a group buy for a limited production run? I was impressed by the lifetime guarantee!

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Well, the sponsor's phone number is Canadian. I tried to buy the system in it's current state, but was highly disappointed in the seller's business practices. I planned sound clips and photos, but had to get out of the deal. It seemed shady. I was given a full refund though. No offense to the sponsor, but if Remus wants to move their products here, they really need to improve the retail end.

Remus Sports Label Soundclip (for S350)
I got this soundclip from the Remus sales rep back in November 2007. S/he said its from a Remus Sports Label exhaust system on an S350... but the exhaust design is "similar".

To my knowledge, they don't exist yet for the 204. They would be creating them for our group, although we would need a prototype photo, of course. In my original inquiry, the intent was for dual tips which work with the C63 diffuser.
Also, I appreciate Derspeed sharing his experience, although its a bit disheartening.
Anyone from REMUS reading this thread so far?

Dear REMUS,
Understand that theyre a lot of us in the market for a quality exhaust at a value price. At this pt, 204 owners can either modify their dual tips to quad to save money w/o the performance gain....or pay $$$ for a eisanmann/meistershaft/carlsson, there is nothing in btwn that i know of. Are you guys even working on this?? I dont only speak for myself but I would b beyond ecstatic if you guys can make a quad setup for us that would b under $1500. You guys would b in a market of ur own at that price...
ps...and if there is something in the works, sound clips and pics would be all the advertising you need.

In re-reading your/my posts, I realize I probably confused some terminology. When I wrote "dual", I meant dual for each exhaust....my error...I should stay with "quad" for clarity. The original request I tried to refer to above was for QUAD tips with the C63 diffuser....sorry.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I know this is off topic, but info is info. Remus makes a quad tip exhaust, but it is sold by Brabus. It won't work with the C63 valence though.
Check out post #38 in the link below. A member named Tron has the system. I think it looks great. And because it is a Remus, I'll bet it sounds great too. We can never get any sound clips from anyone though.

BTW, I have not given up on Remus yet. Also, the Vath C in link below has a Remus dual set up.
