Just picked up my C300 during the week. I'm trying to use the Navi and when I attempt to shut it off - as per instructions - "hold the back button- then keep pushing the back button" it does turn off the visual but the damn voice continues - I've figured out how to mute the voice but can't figure out how to turn the Navi off!! I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that, but if I turn on the radio again, it continues giving NAVI instructions. What I found out is the ONLY THING THAT I'VE FOUND THAT WORKS is to turn the car off, but it's a little drastic, don't you think???

I think you might be referring to the NAVI that comes with the Premium 2 package - i got the cheepo version - and i don't see anything about voice control in the manual - any thoughts (thanks for your response)

MB W204, VW Polo, Audi R8 V10 - SOLD.
Off the top of my head: Press the central control knob, go to the menu at the bottom and select the furthest right option. The first option in this submenu is to cancel route guidance.
You should also be able to find this in the manual.
