Driving Music
Any suggestions for good driving music ? I am on a quest to add to my collection ( and I though it would be interesting to see what people are currently listening to ).
Thanks,
Nick

What are you into? Old school or new school? Top 40 or underground? Metal/rock, hip-hop or electronica? Give me some criteria and I can help ya out. Google "best driving music" and you'll get some lists...don't agree with most of them but, well...to each his own.
That being said, currently I've got in Motley Crue "Saints of Los Angeles", Metallica "Load" and "Ride the Lightning".

Reed,
I will listen to just about anything except rap ( "Saints of Los Angeles" and old school Metallica is awesome - not a big fan of anything after "Justice" though )
Egon,
I downloaded Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, and Exile on Main Street last night...

Some specific songs to consider...
Bush: Machinehead
Spiderbait: Black Betty
Ministry: Jesus Built My Hot Rod
Rush: Limelight and Red Barchetta (laugh if you must haha)
Velvet Revolver: Slither
Albums
Metallica: And Justice For All
Metallica: Master of Puppets
Motley Crue: Shout at the Devil
Motley Crue: Dr. Feelgood
Motley Crue: Saints of Los Angeles
AC/DC: anything before Fly on the Wall
Aerosmith: Any!
Guns N Roses: Appetite For Destruction
Ozzy Osbourne: Blizzard of Ozz
If you're into newer stuff...
EndEverAfter (throw back rock)
Buckcherry (sleazy top 40 stuff)
Maylene and the Sons of Disaster (southern metal, pretty good)
Wolfmother (more throw back rock)
That should be a good starting list, let me know if you want other kind of stuff.

my wife wild, but she loves every minute of it.
One of the best is Bat out of Hell. However, it's a very subjective thing - some music stimulates you, while others calm you. YMMV.

Sirius - great music of every genera in a fraction of the time needed to hunt and manage own music plus always fresh artists. Also a fraction of the cost.
I like Area, BPM, and Heat stations for driving but swicth to other generas from time to time
Don't use my Ipod anymore.

Come on!
Old school was made for driving because cars were more of a thing, then.
1. "I Can't Drive 55" Sammy Hagar (I think)
2. "Runnin' Down a Dream" Tom Petty
3. "Once Bitten, Twice Shy", Great White
4. "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" again
