seller fail...?
firstly my search function is not working ever since the maintenance that mbw had earlier. Is this happening to anyone else?
anyway,
I recently inquired JBSPEED (a forum sponsor) about the cf lip that they have but they replied me with a bunch of pictures of different lips from all over the place and told me that they were the same?
I thought being a forum sponsor they would at least be decent? but they don't even know what their own lip looks like

i just picked up a made in china cf diffuser fitment was horrible and it seemed kind of short... i had to pull and push the **** out of it... and even have to cut a piece off two of the tabs to fit it in.... if i could return this over again i would get the euroteck one everyone who has it seems to say its perfect fit...

American trading philosophy is built around a wall that broke many heads throughout the 235 years of jurisprudence to fight the carpet-bagger spirit. I'd say that it is almost unique in the world, though some blokes one meets trading seem to throw this concept overboard.
Further, dealing with the Chinese tradesmen there is the barrier of language, of the fact the Chinese language does not have a word for "no" and it would be impolite to use it if there were one, and of the fact that one face a very fast brain, very intelligent, very astute, very cunning, all packaged in an individual who would not wish to miss any sale and views his behavior through a lens that gives the word honorable a meaning very strange to occidental society. Excellent people, very punished through the ages, and sharp as a whip, they make very good friends, loyal and open. If I must purchase from China, I would not be crazy about it. The alternatives are, so far, mostly better in quality and satisfaction.
So, caveat emptor, may the buyer beware because he is the guilty party, not a salesman who can play ignorance or take a deaf attitude with a smile and make a case. Remember, you'll always get what you pay for, or less... So if you are disappointed, chalk it up to experience and buy from reliable sources.

wtf does being chinese culturally have to do with anything. The sales rep either made a mistake or is ignorant, neither of which is culturally driven. Capitalism and stupidity doesn't distinguish between ethnicity. And there technically is no word for "no", because we use it as more of an adverb but the meaning is the same. This is just a translation issue as not everything is simple 1:1. Chinese language is much more complex than english (trust me, it's tough). As for impolite to use? Did you see that on a PBS special? Trust me, we say no plenty and liberally. This isn't 17th century China...Don't be ignorant.
