could be many reasons...;
1) did you "finalise" the disc after burning? often you can't play them if they are not...
2) Did you burn a real CD or mp3's (data cd) ?
i never use my cd player, but not sure if it plays mp3...
3) what's the brand of cd's you use? cheap usually means ****...

CD-Rs should 100% work. CD-RWs and DVDs wouldnt work.
Like suggested, you probably have it in the incorrect format (i still dont think MB can read MP3 files on CDs...) or you didnt finalize your disc

mp3 cd-r definitely DO work... and regular .wav files work too.
got like 7 albums goin on 1 cd at a time on my 800 mb cd.
problems could also be... the program u use... a lot of the time you have to make sure to choose the option that states its a mp3 jukebox compilation... or something similar.
also make sure you aren't burning too fast... +24x might cause issues... who knows.
also the media u use... like someone said ****ty cds will just not work.
