I'd love to get in on these, but I don't think chrome on iridium silver would look so great... Anyone find pictures of that?

Any easy way to do an iridium silver paint job on these or make them look more matte?

Sand off the chrome, prime (I would use grey), paint iridium silver then clear coat. Or just take it to a body shop and have them do it.

That's what I figured. I was hoping for something easier, and also don't have iridium silver paint on hand. Is there an equivalent I could find at a local place like autozone?

ColorKote most likely has something but don't expect a perfect match.

I know this thread is forever old, but just wanted to update it since no one else did. This trim is on Pelican parts for $49.99. The link below might not work, but it's part # PEL-P82-873 on www.Pelicanparts.com

Paint them black and bam Good to go. They also have headlight trim in chrome for the 08-11 C class, part # PEL-P82-872
