Anybody try to duplicate Brabus Bullit Tail Light Trims Yet? (See pics)

Anybody Try to duplicate Brabus Bullit Tail Light Trims Yet? After 2 years I still haven't seen a C300 or c350 with them yet...

I was thinking of buying these and painting them black:

To Look Like These on the Bullit:

I searched and could not find anybody that did this yet, but i know we have talked about it before...

Do you think it would look good with only a white trunk spoiler or would i need to go black with the spoiler to for it to work like the bullit?

I did that mod ages ago. This version has CF on the two strips, that is gone as the CF I used didn't work well in the weather. Now they are all 040 black.

I entertained this exact idea a few weeks ago and I've had some luck painting over chrome.

What's holding me back is:

Laziness and the fact that the "vents" on the frames are plugged, which defeats the purpose of the car's rear headlights having it's special mpg vents!

I did this mod about a year ago.. I got the idea from Ron.. Check out my photo album, ignore the chrome door pillars.. Recently took them off

Mine are not plugged, could be a different version of the trim. Make sure you sand all the chrome off before priming and painting, paint does not adhere well to chrome.

I was thinking of doing that over the summer thinking that since IMO the c class resembles the S class in some ways, but then I saw the new S class it didnt have those bars.

dang thats right i remember seeing that on darth, my bad...

i guess i have never seen it on a white w204, which is why i ask, other than the brabus bullit

Looks like Brabus used paint on the lenses and possibly from the inside.

Has anybody done this without painting it black? I'd like to see a chrome set on a black C300. The as much black as you can get look doesn't appeal to me.

yeah, there was some guy a while back that chrome trimmed out his 204. He had a white one and did the headlights, tail lights, mirrors, pillars etc.

ya i saw that one, i am talking about a white one that painted the tail trims black?

I had them on in chrome when I first bought them. This is the only pic I have and it is only part of it.

If your car has headlights on the back end, I wonder if your seats are installed backwards. This would make it a rear engine car.

I searched lots of combinations. tail light trim, chrome trim, light trim, and chrome light. No pictures of it actually chrome. All painted black.

I was thinking about the C63 style grill and the headlight and tail light trim, but that'd probably be too much chrome, maybe.
