Unless you run with weight in the tail all the time 30 psi all round will give best tyre wear & comfort ie 2.1 bar

Mine reads 28 front and 33 rear for a 2008 C300 with the standard 17" tires which were the Michelins.
Are you running another size tire or see anything that would explain why our inflation pressures are different?

And if you have the 18" C63 wheels, the recommended tire pressure is 41F/45R.
That surprised me a bit, because we I first upgraded my wheels/tires I filled them up just like the OE 18's for the C350. Doh!

On our 350 the rear tyres show centre wear running anything higher than 30psi. The car does 99% of it's running 1 up.

My front tires look deflated, not my back.

Can anyone else confirm this? I've recently upgraded my C300 to C63 18", if this is true i'm running very low!
edit: C63 forum says 39psi all around for the tires.

Mine says 28/33 F/R on driver's door, but 30/35 F/R on the gas tank cover and of course the +5 for going at high speed. I just take the middle and do +4 all around to get 33/38 F/R 'cause extra pressure vs high speed should relate linearly instead of one jump.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong on this, isn't tire pressure requirement dependent on the car rather than the tires themselves? Hence all tires only come with a max allowed value. Afterall, it's the systems of the car that are riding on the tires. In other words, shouldn't we just follow whatever it says on the driver's door regardless of the type of tires?

That's strange. Both my door sill and the gas cap cover read 28/33. Then below that it reads +4 for over 100mph. This is on the original 17" Michilen tires on a 2008 C300.
Yours is a 2009 C300 4matic. What else does it say around the 30/35 on the gas cap cover. Anything about extra weight?
