Few lighting questions for my 08 sport 4matic

I am ordering HIDs for my fogs and my low beams on my 08 sport 4matic

H7 for the lows correct? Just the single beams are good right? They aren't anything weird. Reason I ask is the highs are also H7, they don't share do they?

And the fogs are H11.. but most places call it H8(H11) in parenthesis like that..

do I have these numbers right?

Lastly,

what are you guys doing for that lexus look with the LED license plate lights?

ANy error messages with replacing any lows, fogs, or license plate lights?

I know the number is 2825 for the lic. lights which are 168 and 194 just a different number. I just don't want any error messages with replacing anything

vvme.com has kits shipped for $57 a piece...which is the cheapest I have seen and a lot of different forums use them with success. If anyone has any links for license plate lights or cheaper or around the same for the lows and fogs with NO error messages I will buy from there. So links are appreciated!!!

Thanks,
Mike

Fogs are H7 for the Sport models and H11 for the luxury models.

Oh really.. thanks I have a sport model.

Low beams h7 also? so the fogs and lows are the same?

PS. I am buying the clear sidemarkers on ebay... is there a bulb in there or no? If so, does anyone replace it so its whitish? no yellow/orange showing?

the ones on ebay say they come with an amber bulb.. what is the bulb type for this?

and even though its an amber bulb, is it a silver lighting so through the clear sidemarker it doesn't look orange?

Dunno the bulb type but yea it lights up orange. Looks better than you would think and is still legal. Tho I'm thinking of buying a white bulb instead.

If you find out the bulb, or anyone else knows. Please post up.. probably rather go with a white light (led style color) if possible.

just giving you a heads up, do alot of research before you decide what HID kit to install on your car. Many brands have given many problems to your car, and if the person installing your lights does the job wrong, it could ruin your housing and you might have to pay thousands of dollars to repair it and warranty will not cover it. So just do your research before ordering anything and find a very reliable shop to install the kit for you. + you'll definitely need resistors for our lowbeam headlights installed with the HID kit.
