Hid headlight flickering

I have the promax hid kit on my car for about 7 months for my low beams and the right low beam started to flicker tonight. I was having this problem with my fogs last week but everything went back to normal. What should I do?? Should I try to send them bac and get a new set??

this happened after 7 months? check wiring? might be a bad ballast. Who'd you buy it from? I'm up to a year and half on my promax kit with no issues.

I had the same thing happen with my Promax kit..started with a slight flicker then they just got progressively worse and started shutting off on me, etc.

I contacted the place where I bought them (same place you got yours) since they have a year warranty. They asked for my order number, which i sent..then never heard back.

I ripped the kit out and replaced it with the DDM kit..so far so good.

I think I'm going to contact them today. My light turned off completly for about 30 mind but I let the car rest and everything went bac to normal while I was at a resturant. Then when i as driving home everything seemed ok until it started to flick then completlty went off again. I'm going to send them a email right now about it.

Originally, I was going to get the Promax kit, but I guess I'm going to get the DDM kit now.

Ya dude that's exactly what mine were doing. I installed them around the same time you did and they worked perfectly until a month ago. Maybe we both got kits from the same bad batch? Anyway..send an email and keep on it and they should send you another. Good luck man

The DDM kit seems a little more heavy duty to me. I also like the way they designed the rubber stoppers that plug up the holes you drill in the dust caps. It's very snug..much better than the Promax design imo.
