C200k ECU upgrade
Guys;
Does anyone know of a company/supplier that sells an ECU upgrade for the W204 C200k that can be done through the OBDII port (so it could be undone when car goes into dealers etc) here in the UK?
I used to have a Saab 9-3 and had a BSR PPC (http://en.bsr.se/products/ppc/) which was fantastic, anything similar for the merc would be great.
Any ideas?

Hi Dave,
I have had almost every tuner here in Europe, and no one can upgrade our ECU.
We seem to have a new type ECU Siemens SIM271KE2 which can not reprogrammed (yet)
They all claim that they can do it, but after i have send my ECU numbers who are on the outside of the ECU they all came back to me that it isnt possible.
There are some W204 C180/C200K with the old type ECU SIM4LKE, but not much.
MKB-POWER also had tuning on their website last year for our W204 180/200K, but think they also thought that we had the old ECU, now it isnt availlable anymore.
But if you have found a tuner, please lett me know.

C200K (W204) Avantgarde
Lorinser can tune C200k, didnt crack the ECU but an extra chip is added on, changed the air filter and belts etc. one of my friend here in china has done it. new stats are 160kw and 295Nm. costs about 3000 euros.

But may be they can do it, but almost every tuner here say that they cant do my SIM271 Ecu, and they all had the W204 in their list.
You have to check the number on your ECU, you can read it from your ECU.
If your says SIM4LKE than its not a problem.

hello guys i am from Greece you can see this (http://www.kleemann.dk/Performance/Engines/R4M271.aspx) very easy installation with 1 year guaranty the cost is about 1000€ + installation 200€.here some guys from the MBCLUB.GR have install the kit 2 year ago and the car no problem at all and the cars goes perfect.

Ah, I see, cheers,so any ideas how much the K2 costs?? Where abouts in Greece do you live, my sister lives near faleraki. Small world!
