Some like the more aggressive offset - I'm one of them - it's certainly not wrong. 90% of the 203 forum members are running lower offsets to get the wheels out. I hate the way Benz cars look as though the rear track is too narrow.
Things to watch are
- No rubbing.
- Breaking through the aerodynamic skin effect of the body profile.
- Increase in scrub radius on the front that can cause the car to tramline. Many tolerate this for improved handling.

opinion. So far Ive experienced none of that and the car seems to drive much better.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I am with Vic. If the wheels poke out too much, they may rub the inner fender lip. I like the wheels to be pushed out as far as possible too, but without proper function, it's a waste. You're also asking for headaches. I am glad you're not experincing the problems.
BTW, college kids are supposed to use their heads.

They're not even close to rubbing. I've had 5 people
in the car and gone over big bumps
and had no rubbing. They don't actually stick OUT of the fender..they're lined up exactly even with it.
