we do (Burl Walnut Wood), it's just an option for sport we can add instead of auto rolled into the 350 package price. Luxury c300s get it for stock. Black Maple you can order after the fact though and get it installed as well.

When I was shopping, there was no C350 available in Japan. I wanted the bigger engine, but couldn't get it. Almost got the C63, but opted out. Btw, the C300 Avantgarde Sport has most of the stuff you listed for the C350. It has the black wood trim, too. Just FYI.
It's kinda funny to see arguments about which trim level is better. That's all about personal preference, IMO.

Better is subjective of course.
The M272 3.0L needs MUCH more throttle to get it moving where-as the 3.5L needs very little effort. The motor basically works less hard. I'm sure you can agree with that.
Bigger brakes, much of it attributed to asthetics. Stock 17" AMG wheels, P1 built in, AXLE RATIO difference, stock AMG spoiler, real wood trim(compared to tacky aluminum- subjective of course). I can keep going on.
We're talking stock and not aftermarket/with options but for a minimal price difference, there is a big difference in the cars.

I like the C300 because it's at least on par with its class..the C350 is underpowered compared to everything it competes with.

Having said that..id still take my C300 over a C350 because the 6 spd is worth it to me.

I'll stay in the forum and not join any of those groups... I think we should be together, not setting ourselves apart.. My car is no better than a C300.. maybe it is on the performance side but hey!... they do exactly the same.. For me, it was a personal choice as to why i wanted a C350.. opted out of the wood and it was the only C class in RED!..

I don't think anyone can dispute the C350 being "better" than a C300 for the slight performance increase but value is where it gets held up. If you really feel that strongly about the 3.5 over the 3.0, to me would suggest these are the only 2 engines you have driven in this class; as you drive more vehicles, the difference isn't all that great. A great point someone brought up is that the 3.5 is noticeably underpowered in this class but if someone wants to pay for it, who are we to say no? It's just paper money anyway. In Canada, the 350 4M starts at 50,400 and an S4 starts at 52,500. There just doesn't seem to be as much value in a C350 for a lot of people but it's not wrong to spend the extra money on it if you love the C that much.
