I was a few cars back from a black C300 this afternoon with blacked out rear tail lights. If it is anyone on here, ya need to take that ***** off. You couldn't see the brake lights at all!! I was just thinking not only that you should get pulled over with no rear brake lights, other than the third, but if someone tags you, it's going to end up being 100% your fault...not smart...did you actually even look at that ***** when you got it finished??

I just sent mine to Jonstintedtails to get it painted with Light/Medium tint which is relatively visible from behind.

Black taillight is not my cup of tea, i guess to each is own.

I think a decent tint job can look pretty good but "blacked" out is a bit much. These were just plain 0% transmission...not sure what they were thinking but they may be asking for major trouble.

idk what tinted tail lights you've seen?..my tail lights have a medium tint, and they are very visible.. without even pressing the brakes when my lights are on they light up bright red!! soo idk how dark this guys tail lights were, but when it becomes a hazard to other drivers then thats just stupid..

The guy you saw probably painted his tail lights black!


mine are tinted medium dark .. so theyre really dark red

and you can see the brake lights perfectly and my night lights aswell!

i doubt it was 0 transmission...ive seen lights that looked pitch black but still lit up red at night.
