E200C-Fully loaded, Obsidian Black, ILS, Panoramic roof and some other bits and pieces.
Ordered the new C 250 CGI Today.
Today I’ve traded in my 2009 C200K for a brand new C250 CGI delivery in Feb-March.
Got all the options available on the list even the reverse camera and was told that I will be getting the LED daytime running lights similar to the ones on the new S class and that made me very happy indeed.

That's the S63 AMG, so I think you mean the regular S-Class lights, which are like this:
I gotta admit I prefer the way the lights are on the E63 AMG and S63 AMG much more than on the regular models.

In any case it's an AMG version of the S-Class and thus the lights are different (in a better way).

There is no equivalent in US. Engine is 1.8 Litre and 204 Hp. 200 CGI is 1.8 Litre as well but 184 HP. On the other hand 250 CDI is 2.2 Litre and produces 204 Hp. So europe likes lower displacement engines.

I gotta say I still prefer the fog lights. Can't get used to those LED strips. So is this the official facelift for 2011 or not?
What i've been reading is that Mercedes is showing the new car at Geneva in 2010 so does it mean we're getting this version or a completely different version?

Oh really? That's very interesting. Do you mind elaborating on that please? So I assume 2011 will be our model year facelift since waiting until 2012 would be longer than usual.
I don't recall the w203 ever having an interim facelift, but then again I didn't pay too much attention to the C-Class at the time (was in the UK driving hatchbacks - couldn't even afford one then).

These are the first decent pictures we have seen of the new lights and I'm trying to spot the fog lights. I see a tiny something in the inner corner of the light assembly but there is also what looks like a small clear lens at the bottom of the yellow turn light.
I too don't see the point of the LED strip other than jumping on the bandwagon with the rest. Audi is still doing it better.

The US saw a 203 known to most as a 2004.5 before it saw the full facelift in 2005. Bit of a *******.

Their presentation in it's various forms is certainly jumping on the bandwagon.

I know, I’ve just learned about the full facelift today.
I will be postponing my new order so I can get the full facelift model.
Does anyone here know when I can place my order so that I get the full facelift model?

Do you have a launch date for Europe? You might have to wait until mid 2011

The final facelift cars are doing endurance testing here right now under heavy wraps including interior. I'm sure that the US will get them early unlike the 203. Whether that means you will get them in 3rd quarter 2011 or earlier - I simply don't know. 2014 is the full model change for US build in Tuscaloosa Alabama.

What would be the point of doing a half-*** facelift though? Isn't that kind of a slap in the face for those owners? The current design doesn't look old at all either.
So...does that mean we're not getting the half-facelift and instead just getting the full one?

I'm sure you will get the new mirrors, plastic, headlights & LEDs etc. They are out here already. Then you will wait for the full facelift like us. It's all up to the MBUSA Marketing dept.

Because no one knows what the true facelift is as yet. One thing Benz have said is it will include changes to the tail of the car which you do not mention & local test cars tail cover tends to suggest this is true. At least a new tail skirt & likely some form of tailight extension into the trunk lid.
