New guys here!
Hey everyone! My wife and I just bought our first Benz this weekend. We were out to get a '10 model, but we found a great deal on an '09 demo with 9k miles.
Anyway, this car is beautiful and it's gotto be one of the classiest cars I've ever owned (I've had like 12 the past 10 years, 30-40 in my life!)!!!
Glad to be apart of this forum, I am hopeing to be able to contribute here at some point as well!
One question though, we have a C300 and I was wondering if different packages were included in this model, if so, How can I tell which package we have?
Here are a few pics!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. Nice color choice
P1 includes: Heated front seats, auto-dimming mirrors, garage door opener, rain sensing wipers and Sirius satellite radio.
P2 includes: P1 equipment, power rear sun shade, Bi-xenon headlamps, corner illuminating fog lamps, headlamp washers, led tail lights and split folding rear seats.
^Defintely the Sports Model but not sure about the P1 package (I don't see an antenae on the roof)

I assume you took title to a "NEW" vehicle, not "USED", even though the dealer had it in demo service. Therefore, the dealer was obligated to supply the vehicle with the Monroney label, although it might have been removed from the window. Check the glove box or ask the dealer for it. That will have all the info on exactly what is on your car.

Hey, so there's an antenna after all... It looks like the possibility of a rear sunshade but it's too hard to tell. I'm thinking P1 package.
Congrats on the new car, are you planning on doing any mods? I would suggest searching the forum for "clear side markers" to get you started

We do a lot of interesting modifications, some for performance, but others designed to improve the car's appearance, e.g. changing yellow side markers to clear or smoked, adding spoilers, diffusers, new wheels, etc. But, bumper stickers? Some people complain about having a front plate in their state!
Can you get those peeled off or painted over really quickly? Or just photograph the car from the front and side, please?

Thanks alot guys! I appreciate it!
Not sure about the tails, but the headlights are Bi-Xenons right?
How do I tell if it has the shade?
Well I just picked up an '01 Bmw that I'm going to start modding. I'll let my wife enjoy this car for a little while before I start modding this sucker! "Search" will how-ever become my best friend!
not sure what you mean?
Okay, i found it! It says under Value added packages:
333 Sport Sedan
327: 7-speed Automatic transmission

The little green cross and the number "8" stuck on the rear fascia under the right taillamp!! It's like seeing a great piece of artwork with graffiti!!

Instead, we have what is called a saftey inspection. We have to take our car in yearly to a garage and the inspect the lights, tires, wipers and yada yada to make sure our cars are safe for the road. That sticker tells the police officer tailing you what month and year your "saftey" inspection expires.

Ha! Your kinda right! Well over here in Hawaii, we do not have emissons. Because we are in the middle of the ocean, no one enforces the federal emission guidliines here (Woot!)

take a picture of your center console and we'll know what exact packages you have:
if you have the rear sunshade button you have P2
if you have the heated seats buttons you have P1
if you have the folding screen you have MM

Congratulations on your car fellow Hawaii person.
I drove a 09 C300 in that color as my service loaner with 8400 miles a few months ago. Don't remember the exact plate. Don't worry, I took good care of it, even though the car smelled like makeup. It was completely barebones, no P1 nor P2. I personally do hope you spent less than 30k on the car though as the few people I know recently who bought MB's(CL, E, R, C) all paid at least 1k less than invoice on their new 2010 car.

Thanks imboom. I wouldn't doubt it if it is the same car! We spent a little over 30k but I got them to give me more on our trade in than it was worth. I'm not sure, but I think that helps to balance the price out. We priced a '10 model and it was 10k more. We got this from the Kapiolani Stealership.
So guys, this car has the sports package, what exactly is included with that?

There is only one dealership for MB here and that's the Kapiolani one. I was considering selling my C350 with 11k miles for a great price too in order to pick up a really really good deal on a C63.
More "sportier" suspension than the Luxury model, the exterior is what they call AMG Styling Package overseas, aluminum trim vs wood trim(I believe) on the luxury. The C350 only comes in Sport. For a bit over 30k, you won't find many cars out there that are better overall. Once you break the 35k, 40k, etc, the world opens up.
You won't see much Luxury models out there and as a whole MBUSA sells more Sports than Luxury.

but Enjoy it!.. it's basically the same ride and less options... not that you need a heated seat @ hawaii... it's the same as Puerto Rico... but those are just fancy knobs for the tropical weather guys like us...
Floding rear seats would be a nice to have, and the Led Tails and the Bixenon .. but a 4k option??... not worth it!.. i bought an aftermarket HID kit and done deal... although in my case.. i ordered it with the pano and the "must have" (for me) the Multimedia or MM package.. all the other one's for me where "nice to have" no "gotta have" as the MMpackage...
Good luck and EnJoy your benz!!!
