Premium XENON without the Conversion Kit

Hi All,
I have been craving to get Xenon light for my C300; however, I am afraid to drill holes and run all those cables under the hood with the conversion kit. I found this Xenon Headlights for C300/C350 (W204).

Premium *XENON* MERCEDES-BENZ C300 / C350 (W204) AMG : eBay Motors (item 230397311710 end time Mar-08-10 13:14:20 PST)

It claimed to be as easier as changing your current light bulb to xenon without the cable or conversion kit.
Has anyone bought them and tried it out yet? Please, let me know. If this is worth my money. Thanks a bunch.

It's pretty funny how the guy says. PREMIUM XENON Halogens. Important word in there is Halogens. You can get any pair of bulbs from Philips or Luminics or Hella. It'd be the same thing he's selling.

Exactly.. The guy does sound funny. If you don't wanna go through all the trouble then like snarlingchicken says go with the tinted bulbs.

For the record, the price of bulbs like these can be as low as $20 bucks. You could get H7 GPThunders on e92-lighting that look just as good if not better for like $15.

In fact. Here you go. http://www.e92-lighting.com/products...ITE-38-14.html

Might as well promote the business of one of our forum's members/sellers.

HID kits are not that expensive anymore and are not very hard to install. Xenon gas is what allows the HID capsule to produce light immediately and warm-up immediately. HIDs are actually metal halide capsules. The are VASTLY different than halogens, and vastly superior. Just bite the bullet, you won't be sorry. Premium "xenon halogens" is stupid marketing gibberish designed to prey on the uninformed.

The bulbs in that link look like they would do the trick. Should I order those or should I stick with philips xtreme I found a shipper from EU to send to U.S. for $40 out the door.

In your link they keep saying Xenon and HID, but are they halogens that are simply tinted and high lumens?

They're just halogens as you said. They get the job done though. A lot of people on E90post use em. Good reviews too. E92-Lighting recently became an authorized seller on these forums I think. If not, he's still a member of the forums. You should give him a PM and see what he says.

thanks for the support, just so everyone knows, we are a sponsor here and on e90post, since lighting is universal. also to OP, if you are willingly to pay $60 shipped for a pair of halogen bulbs, then you are getting ripped off
