AMG seats in a C300?

My wife and I are about to buy a C300 Sport. Love the car and can't wait to get it. The one thing we want out of all the AMG stuff are those amazing seats.

Can they be installed in a regular C? Anyone know where is a good place to buy OEM AMG parts?

Seeing how the C300/350 and the C63 are the same car interior wise, I wouldn't see why not. Your major problem would be...the $3,030 price tag, to be fair that price is for the leather package that also includes memory seats and power steering column. Just the front seats alone should be cheaper than that, but I'd still expect them to be over a grand. Also be aware that cloth seats are actually standard on the C63, so you will want to make sure you get the order code correct.

We were concerned the memory seats wouldn't be compatible or other problems like that. Otherwise we are prepared for the price increase - we just wish we could spec them originally anyway.

I read about this a few days ago. It's currently on the E-Class and I believe it also includes the AMG Seats or something similar.

I'm not 100% sure but i'm definitely hoping that when this comes out for the C-Class it will allow you to get those seats because they're excellent and I loved sitting in them when I sat inside an E63 AMG at the dealership.

I can't stand the C63 seats. They have had problems "breaking down" and the Nappa leather is too soft and is sowing signs of premature wear. These are the complaints from the C63 section. I would prefer the seats from the new E Coupe. They are AMAZING.

Thanks for the heads up. We'd prefer MB-Tex because of the wear issue, but I wasn't sure if the C63 seats were available that way. Those E coupe seats do look promising.

If you get your mercedes with the leather option than it will not be a problem. The plug for the seats is the same in both packages. If you do not have the memory seats in your car than you will run into some problems getting the seats wired.

C63 seats will fit C300 n C350 but the air bags in the C63 seats will not work.

The leather on the C63 is fine - its the side bolster that wears prematurely because people tend to brush it on the way in.

Similar to the e46 M3 seat if any of you are familiar with it.
