Coming To A Rear-View Mirror Near You: Ford Unveils New Police Interceptor
If you haven't already seen this anywhere else online today, here it is:
Ford today unveiled their successor to the highly popular and very famous Crown Victoria which has been serving as Police Cruisers and Taxi Cabs nationwide.
The new car is based on the new Ford Taurus and will also receive its engines, which include a 263hp 3.5L V6 and a 365hp 3.5L Ecoboost Turbocharged V6.

I think it looks great, but in many ways I prefer GM's offering for a replacement: The Chevrolet Caprice Police Interceptor. I think they'll both be used and spread out depending on need. The Taurus will be good in FWD or AWD form for places like the Northeast while the RWD Caprice will be great in most situations anyway.
Just thought i'd show you guys to give a heads-up to all the Speeders amongst us (including me ). Better memorize what those headlights look like so when you're looking in your rear-view mirror you don't get caught out, especially when its dark.

That interceptor is gangster...I like it. The dodge charger is cool too, I didn't think there would be another police car that could compete with those looks.
