eyebrow parking light out
Ok let's see if I can explain this so you guys can understand. My passenger's side eyebrow lights are not working correctly. Only one is on. I thought it was a bulb's problem so I attached another LED to the defective light and it didn't power on. Thought it was weird, so I detached the working LED and then attached it to the defective light and it worked. Then I attached another working LED to the side that I detached and it did not work. Mind you I'm using three LED's, I thought the other was defective so I didn't use it. Thinking it was the LED's fault I attached them to the interior of my car to test them all and they worked. I thought it was a fuse problem at first but if it was then I figured both lights wouldn't work. Anyone have a similar issue? Any suggestions?

This made me a stupid question but did you try flipping the LED around. LEDs have a "positive" and "negative" side.

If you get the error and the LED didn't light up, you must turn the key off and then flip the LED around. Otherwise, even after flipping the LED around, there still will not be power to that bulb once the car has detected the bulb is out. It's only after it restarts the bulb check sequence that the power will be sent again.

Power cycle the vehicle by turning the engine on and off resets the SAM. Basically power gets cut to the socket if it detects a dead bulb (or reverse polarity LED). After all, there's no need to continue the parasitic draw if it's not powering anything.

That's a really handy idiosyncracy to know about.
