We just got a CPO'd '08 C300, so it has about 1.5 years of original warranty remaining plus 1 year of CPO warranty. We wanted to purchase additional warranty after the CPO warranty ends - the dealer quoted us a pretty hefty premium for 2 additional years (but still only up to 100k miles). It's an MB warranty, so no deductible.

Is the price negotiable? Are there some dealers in the country that are more flexible on this pricing? I'm assuming I can purchase it through any dealer and not necessarily from the one I bought the car from.

Seems many people on this forum are very pleased with this extended warranty, and it is a lot less expensive than the extended factory warranty.
