Who has the Chrysler aftermarket warranty?

I just called him multiple times in a day and was finally able to get ahold of him. He's a good guy to talk to. My car isn't a candidate for it w/higher mileage but he pretty much said that below 60k miles is doable on a case by case basis. If the car is under existing warranty, they're a lot more inclined to give the warranty of course. But I'm planning on selling my CPO car w/90k miles on it to buy another one and Mike said just to call if I find a car I like and he'll let me know if a warranty is doable or not.

Has anyone had a claim with the Chrysler warranty program on the ABC system or know if it's covered? I have an "02 CL500 with 38k miles and just out of MB's Starmark warranty.

The hydraulic suspension stuff's all covered. So far they've replaced the control computer and all 4 accumulators on my ADS-II (95% the same as ABC) with no questions asked.

Can you tell us your car's mileage/year/and if its got any warranty left... those are big factors.. as well as you already indicated the $200 deduct

2004 Mercedes Benz E55
'04, purchased last year with apx. 43K miles, the car now has 49K. I did have to have ANY ASC Certified Mechanic inspect the car. That being said, I live in a suburbial area N. of San Diego and East of LA or OC in So Cal, so there's no MB dealership here. I had a Cadillac do an inspection on the car that cost me $80. I sent in the inspection report to Michael Case, and I was covered very shortly thereafter. My policy is a $100 Deduct., 5/70K for $2995 that has already paid for itself 3x+ with the cars first warranty claim. Definitely want a aftermarket car with a Perf. German ride like ours!!!!! Tranny alone would prob. cost us $15K+!!

Called Chrysler yesterday, Sunday, and Mike called back this morning, Monday. I asked him about a policy for my '02 CL500. He said, in so many words, they won't go back that far now and are tightening up a little to reduce claims. He said just coming off the CPO warranty is about as old as they go which is an '05 or so. I asked him about ABC claims which is what I'm mostly concerned about and he thought from what he'd seen and off the top of his head that they are about 30% of claims.

Wow.......really sorry to hear that. Seems like I was very fortunate to get my 2002 CL55 covered this past December......I'm wondering if they will offer me an extension when mine expires in 12/2012

He is a good guy but in the end he can't make any money talking to us about things that he can't sell!!!
I wonder if he would be more responsive if you called and just left a message saying you have a late model car that needs an extended warranty and you heard he made good deals on Chrysler warranties.
Basic salesmanship would likely have him believe that you might have a car that he COULD write a warranty for and then maybe you could talk him through the Mercedes and get it done.....just a thought.
For those of you having trouble getting him to return calls did you leave messages saying that you have a Mercedes? did you also leave the year and model?.....just guessing based on my misspent youth in the car "Bidness"
