What color for calipers?

I've been wanting to paint my calipers. Red is outplayed. Any suggestions?

Since I still have the stock 17's, I can't really see mine anyhow. If/when I finally get new wheels I will go Red. It's the most common color because it looks good and matches the tail lights. I wouldn't consider it played out just not the color to go with if you are determined to look different.

Well, for silver, I'd say silver, black, or white goes along nicely for the traditional clean look. Not sure if it's worth mentioning, but I saw a silver IS350 with blue F-Sport Brakes. I thought they went together nicely.

Color doesn't have anything to do with dissipating heat. Color only comes into play with absorption of radiant energy...in which case darker colors tend to absorb more heat.

Somewhat what I meant. Didn't go that much into it. Haha, but yeah. In terms of reflecting light or any other radiation, I know darker colors don't perform as well, and end up absorbing most of it. And very true, I don't see color coming into play when dissipating heat. That would depend on the material/metal used. ..Right? :P

I had red on my last car and really liked it.
I was hoping people wouldn't think I was trying to copy the new AMG P31 package on the C63.

Did I just get caught in an old wives tale? I coulda sworn. Poor gullible me. I hate my brothers, I can hear them laughing. If you come looking for me I'm googling black calipers. I'm gonna hurt somebody.

Another round of ICE
Silver, but perhaps a slightly heavier metalflake than Iridium for some contrast and a bit more sparkle for the somewhat less obvious location.

There is nothing wrong with looking like the C63, I buy far always prefer red calipers, it just make the whole car, rims, and brake system looks more aggressive.

I was tempted by red but ended up with silver and I love it.. though I don't have any good pictures of the final product because I'm waiting to install my 2 new front rims. The ones on there now have damage from sharp as hell euro stone curbs and it would just look crappy in a picture.
