Little bulge on side of tire. What to do?

I never had this happended to me before.
I guess it was bad day.
I cornered little tight (seeing big as 18wheeler truck was making right turn as I am doing left turn)
and got this little bump on my tire.
I don't know the protocol for this.

Can anyone help me? Do I just keep driving normally? or is there a way to push it back in? or need to change a tire? or anything else?

LEt me know people~
Thank you in advance.

Looks like a HUGE bubble in your sidewall. Does it hit your fender when the wheel rolls?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the rubber has separated from the sidewall. Unfortunately you need to replace the tire. The sooner the better because the tire could deflate rapidly while you are driving, which could have a lot of bad consequences.

Replace it ASAP!!! You don't really want to drive with that tire at all...

A "little" bubble

Consider this. You are driving at night, in the rain on the freeway, and that tire goes "BANG". It's a rear wheel so the car is going to "wander" a bit until when and if you get it under control. Then you get to change it.

I'd take all of those Continental tires and nail them on the bow of a tugboat someplace.

Consider this another "Mod."

ok, thank you all for so quick replies
I am going to buy a tire.

But I think I need 2(one pair.)

I have rode 28,000 miles. How much thread do you think I have left on tire?
If it's too little I need to change both.

This is rear tires we are talking about and please give me some estimate in percentage(ex. 50% thread should be left) or so. Just rough estimate.
Thank you.

Hmm... I must have misplaced my crystal ball somewhere...

Seriously, take out a ruler and measure it - how are we supposed to know? It depends on how you drive.

We just got an '08 with 24k miles on it, and the dealer put new tires on it because the old ones were already more than 50% worn.

That's worse then mine, I've been driving (carefully) on mine for a couple of days waiting for a new set of michelins to come in. These Continental tires are really bad.

Tread depth

First, it's tread, not thread. If you have gotten 28K miles out of a set of Contis, I'd say you were doing well and they certainly are worn much more than 50%.

Why don't you look at the tread wear indicators which indicate legal minimum tread depth? Or, go to an auto supply store and buy a tread depth gauge to see for yourself what's left.

I would replace all four tires.
