DDM HIDS vs PROMAX
Ok guys im debating on which kit to go with, I ordered the DDM with error cancels however they are on back order so I have to wait. I was debating canceling my order and getting a set of Promax hids as ive been doing some reading about them and finding out they throw no errors even without the error canceling unit. Any input of ideas from you guys? Pros Cons?

Promax has a bad batch that was made that had faulty ballasts. I was lucky and didn't get one of those so have had no issues. Just make sure where you get it from has good return policy in case you do blow your ballast. If the wait isn't that long, wait for DDMs, or you can try American Titan which has no issues that I've heard so far on 204s.

I had the promax kit, ballasts died after a few months, threw them out and put the DDMs in. Been great.
I assume I got a promax kit from the bad batch.

DDM customer service for me has been terrible. I cannot seem to get a hold of ANYONE! I paid for my error cancellors and they just didnt send them. Extremely frustrating because now i can even install my HIDs until i recieve the error cancellors.

It depends on what you want. 6000K will give you slightly better usable light output (not brighter, but better road illumination). 8000K will have a slight bluish tint to it which some people like. I opted for 8000k cause I like the bluish tint.
