tingling in gas pedal when accelerating
anyone have a tingling feeling in the gas pedal/floor well when accelerating?? it happens most obviously when revs are around 2,000 rpm. It's a rough tingling feeling and only in drive, I can't feel it when revving in park or neutral. When coasting at city speeds I can also feel it. It's not horrible but its definitely noticeable.
The last C300 loaner we have didn't have this tingling feeling, but another C300 loaner we had did..
Any info?? I have taken it to the dealer for this but they say it's normal. I posted a thread about this almost a year ago but I decided to see if there's any new info. Thanks.

Since cars have moved away from cables into drive by wire, this has not been very common. It sounds like the pedal assembly may need to be removed inspected and securely reinstalled. Honestly, if the dealer doesn't want to help you may want to pull the "Toyota" card and start talking about how you think it may be sticking, hanging up, etc, etc. I wouldn't go overboard with that but they should at least take a look for you and not give you the same ol same ol line about being "normal".

Personally, I always get a tingling feeling when I accelerate
But seriously, have not had this issue before. Take it to a different dealer and have them check it out. Some are more helpful than others.

haha thank you both. I'm going to tell them about the problem again when I bring my car in for service in a few weeks.
I knew that it couldn't be normal when they told me it was...these engines should rev relatively vibration free, and especially at lower RPMs.
