Prices for Pre-paid Maintenance
OK Folks-
This is kind of a poll, What seems to be the going rate for the MB Pre-Paid Maintenance Plan?
Here's why I ask, (Don't beat me up too bad):
I purchased Pre-Paid Maintenance when I bought the car, but immediately realized that it was for the Dealer Group and not the MB Plan. (This was unacceptable to me due to the fact I may move due to my job, and not be near this dealer group). I then went to the dealer and cancelled it, but when the money wasn't put in my MBUSA account, I went in and asked. I found out that the Original F&I guy found out I was cancelling, and in a attempt to save his commission, switched me from the Dealer plan to the MB Plan. YES, I'm fully aware I can have this guy's butt, but I want to see what other people have paid, to give me a little ammo when I go have a chat with the GM.
THANKS PEEPS!!!

I just got my wife a C300 three weeks ago and paid $475 for the pre-paid maintenance for the life-time of the lease (3 years).

I was never offered this when I leased my c-class.
At a price of $475 for 3 years of service, that sounds fantastic given the going rate for Service A and B.
What exactly does this cover?

I don't recall my dealer offering it to me I just happen to come across a flyer on his desk while he was doing the paper work for us regarding the pre-paid maintenance.
Also, if you live in an area that has bad roads I would suggest you ask your dealer about the wheel and tire protection service they offer. I live in NJ where the roads are full of pot holes. If I damage a wheel and/or tire I can get it replaced for free (only OEM rims and tires). I paid $800 for this package on my E class and its good for the lifetime of the car. Three weeks ago the same package was offered to us for $1,499. It covers flats, tire bubbles, tears, cracked rims and curb rash (for the curb rash they will try to polish it out for you not give you a brand new rim).

Wow, that is a really good deal then. Is it possible to add this on after the fact. I have yet to get service A on my car, and they are quoting me about $200 for it (need it done within 200 miles)
I have a 39 month lease and drive about 15k miles/year. At this rate I will need 2 Service A's & 2 Service B's for the lifetime of my lease. If I got quoted for around $500 for the pre-paid service, I would get 2 sets of service for the price of 1.

Through MB, the price for a C300 should be $769 for a 3 year 30k mile prepaid maintenance. For a V8 car, it should be $805 for the same prepaid maintenance plan. This has been nationally advertised, so there should be no deviation from MB dealers. These cover an A, B, A service only.

C300 SPORT 4MATIC SEDAN
Hi guys... I purchase a C300 sport 4matic and I'm picking it up today... I got my monthly payment already so I'm just going in to sign and out in the new car. I've been thinking about the pre-paid maintenance for the 3/30000 miles and or wheels and tire protection... Thanks to the info I found here I know that for the maintenace a could get it as cheap as $475 and the wheels and tire protection for $800... But, from 1 to 10 how much you think I should have this two? Would it be worth the bump on the payment?
Thanks guys
