Clear Lense LED Tails
Just wondering if anyone out there has ever tried these out or seen them in person. How do I find out if they are legal in my state?

Clear lens is a great improvement...the photo of the Palladium shows how well it eliminates the harshness of the red lens, but will still light up brightly. Nothing to tint! But, I agree the pattern is really bizarre. That laying-on-its-side U shaped amber turn signal has got to go....should be a solid rectangle of amber. And the odd black plastic area of no light at the top outboard corner also looks unfinished.
C'mon suppliers....you've almost got it right! Simplify the array and fill up the area and I'm sold!

Risking my life here, but I am going to suggest clear lenses have good potential. They completely end the issue of the appearance of the red lens and blend into the car's body color. The visual effect is similar to all the clear side marker lights members have installed to replace the amber lens. They also blend in much better. The problem with these tail lamps is the mayhem going on with the LED array. If they filled the space and arranged the LEDs in clear, functional blocks, in a similar shape to OE, these could have real potential as an alternative to the (IMHO) absurd idea of taking a light which is supposed to be easily seen and darkening it.
