H&R Super sports + 19" S550 AMG wheels

Wheel/tire specs:
19 x 8.5 +47, 235/35
19 x 9.5 +50, 265/30
Wheel offsets were modified by the car's previous owner, so those are not factory specs.

H&R springs were installed about a month ago. IMO it's a comfortable ride, given how much the car was lowered. In case you're wondering there's no rubbing with this setup. I was ready to have the fenders rolled but the techs said it wouldn't be necessary.

Still not sure about the exhaust tips... might go with a quad setup in the future.

What do you guys think?

looks nice. I wnt with the pro-kits on mine because I was worried about the rubbing.

how's the ride quality? Also, when you so no rubbing, is that with or without passengers?

I'm very satisfied with the ride quality. Road bumps are more apparent but the freeway ride is still comfortable. If I switched to 18" wheels, I'm sure the ride comfort would increase even more.

The heaviest load the car has seen is my two kids in the back seat (~90 lbs) and a bunch of groceries in the trunk. Light load obviously, but no rubbing. I'm fairly confident that the car won't rub based on the tests that my installers (Group 5) did. It might bottom out, but that's a different story!

The thing I'm worried about more than rubbing is... parking berms! I swear they're making those things bigger than they used to.

Thanks! I like how the exhaust tips are uncommon, but from certain angles I feel that they don't fit the car perfectly.

Really nice set up - looks excellent...Not sure how, but I think you pulled off the Porsche tips - I usually dislike them , but your car looks great.... btw, where the heck did you find S550 wheels?

Looks damn clean except for those tips. But then again I am a big fan of the OEM look.

Tip for the holes in the bumper where the front plates used to be... Pick up some touch up paint and paint the screws that held the front plate in place with them. Then put them in those fugly holes and re-touch up the screws once they are in if you scratched them while screwing them.

It's not amazingly sleek or stylish but it beats four holes.

That's what I did until I got a $56 ticket from a Ft. Lee, NJ SGT. who claimed I was not the first to get a no front plate ticket that day (around 930-1000 am LOL).

EDIT: OH THOSE ARE PORSCHE TIPS... knew I remembered them froms omewhere. Still not a huge fan though. The rear profile looks clean, but the side profile looks like you have coffee cans.

The previous owner bought the wheels from ebay I think. You could also buy replicas from Powerwheelspro.

If you're interested in the exhaust tips, I can sell them to you! lol I recently replaced them with different tips.

Thanks for the compliment (but not for the coffee can comment). The side profile of the tips was what bothered me most about them so I finally got them changed out. I'll try and post some pics later.

I've been meaning to paint those plugs that I used for the license plate holes. Just been too lazy to buy the paint. Actually, between you and me (and the thousands in the audience) I was hoping somebody would hit my front bumper and pay me for a paint job. Probably not very wise of me to hope for an accident.
