Do you do oil change between services?

I know the recommend interval between services is 1 yr or 13k miles..however, I am wondering what's the percentage of the w204 owners here would do a in between service oil change..

Also, for staggered wheels owners, do you rotate your tires side to side? (front left to front right and rear left to rear right)

Intermediate oil changes are not necessary with 229.5 oils. We don't

We do rotate tyres cross axle if non directional tyres are fitted. Stops air pumping noise.

I own the diesel & change oil & filter every 10,000 km which turns out to be about 9 months.

It is probably not necessary but I intend keeping the car for 10 to 15 years & as I do it myself the costs are minimal.

Just a gut feeling from an old diesel marine engineer & a piece of mind thing.

I don't take my car to the dealer except for warranty work and I change the oil at 5000 miles because of a lot of short trips. I swap the 18" Bridgestones side to side and at 21K miles, 7/32 tread remains. That's more than 50% left. At this mileage, my former W203's tires would be about gone.
