20% all around is dark. Really no need to go darker trust me I had it. IMHO 20% gives that ricer look depending on the subtlety of the rest of your ride. Tinting just the rear windows looks bad no matter what shade.
Looking to tint my windows now and I'm considering 35% for a classier look.
20% or less and you look like you painted your windows black... to those of you with 20 or less, is that the look you are going for?

My 22% is finally growing into me. I have to admit that it is a lil to dark at night, but it is perfect in the day time, and this is why i got it in the first place. Yes it protects your interior and it keeps it cooler. Yes it is more privacy and all that.
My 60% front windshield is also perfect. With all my pull overs, i have never got sweat it for it.
IMO, you should tint your windows for the outcome, not for the looks.

Getting 35% tints tomorrow morning. Benzs with really dark tints run the risk of looking like a taxi imo, especially if they're black on black on black. Ever been to Europe or Asia?

How do you guys get away with illegal tints during inspection?
Even if your state's limit is 35%, slapping on 35% on a C300 would meter as illegal tint because of the slight factory tint.

2009 Arctic White/Black C350 with NAV pkg, ipod integration, 40% HO tint, and 18" 5-spoke AMG wheels
I recently had my C350's four windows done with the darkest Huper Optic (20% I think) and had the windshield done with a different brand, but went with 70%. Looks a hell of a lot better and well worth the investment.
