Anyone want their headlights painted??
Guys I'm painting the inside of the headlights any color you want. I just did a c63 headlight today in black and it looks amazing. if there is enough interest in this i will start to do them for everyone on the forum. Lets get this started so everyone can have the trim pieces in the headlights painted.

Pictures? I just did the Tint lamin-x on my headlights and I am pretty happy. But I would be curious to see how this comes out on a C-Class with regular headlights... It might just woo me. lol.

how about a good tutorial on how to separate the lens from the housing and reseal it without getting condensation problems! I tried doing this once and the tacky road tar glue the use to hold the lens on there is a ***** to work with

I also painted the housing which is very simple but i do suggest u dont paint the area around the turn signal as u want to leave some reflecting material so others can see you signaling.
the fogs can also be done the same way.
try the above at your own risk. I am not responsible if you cook your headlights.

the best way to separate the lens from the housing is to bake it in the oven on 200 - 250 for about 10 to 15 min, let it cool for 10 min then separate, I did it the when i added angel lights to my old car(2007 chrysler 300c) all u have to do is be careful when baking it, the resealing part is easy, i used 3m clear sealer it was about 10 bucks per tube i needed 3 tubes, but it works, I used my headlights for 2 years and never had any problems n i live in Upstate NY n Long island NY, so i travel frequently between the two and deal with wind rain n snow, never had any condensation.

Where did you see the painting Spec?
Edit: NVM, I see it now, lol. How much did this cost, and also, hate to be pushy, but does anyone have pictures with it installed in a c-class, preferably with arctic white exterior.
