Maybe I'm alone in this, but I have a 2008 C300 and I like my mirrors. I really like the new ones too, but would rather put $800 into rims. Great write and Thx!

ANyone complete a deal with this member yet...not sure if he's legit? Where do these mirrors come from also?
As you can see, there are also a few honest people on this planet left ;-)

If anyone else is interested in these mirrors, feel free to PM me.

No need. I purchased a pair of new power folding heated self dimming mirrors in the correct color more than a year ago. From MBenznl in the Netherlands.

I was going to get them from MBenzl also but I saved $400 going this route. I think he wanted $1200 -$1400 for the mirrors. It only cost me $50 to have them painted to match my vehicle.

Am I the only one that has thought of this...renting a 2010 w204 and swapping the mirrors? What are the odds they would notice?

I would never do it since Daniel offered a reasonable solution, but still my mind wanders...

...and even if Daniel didn't offer a reasonable solution, you shouldn't be doing it.

No kidding, lol.

I looked up after posting that message and though "how the hell did I do that?"

I'd rather not believe that it was a freudian slip.

Finally got a chance to upload the pictures of the new mirrors that were painted (matched perfectly) and I installed them in 45 minutes thanks C63 dude once again. I think the vehicle looks so much better with these mirrors. I have my old ones for sale if anyone wants them.

I think they just pop right off when C63 dude sent me mine they were already unassembled and after they were painted they snapped right in, maybe C63 dude can help send him a pm.

Got it actually with a plastic spatula. Now just need paint and the part # for the left door window/side-mirror folding switch.

Is there any separate auto dimming + folding + mirror-point-downwards-when-reversing module on sale?

Does anyone know if I bought the newer mirrors off a car that DOES NOT have the auto folding function, and connected it to my car with the auto folding option, would the auto fold still work?
