Didn't some people say that the AUX jack is actually covered if you have the ipod connector? I remeber reading about it a while back.. not too sure though. Try a search I know i've read it somewhere on here before!

I have both. I was wondering how the interface works through the aux jack since my iPhone chord (the updated one) still doesn't charge the fing iPhone. Has anyone had any luck using the aux chord and running a iPhone charger to the in glove 12v charging connector?

Maybe someone can help answer this question. My 2010 C300 has both the ipod adapter and aux input in the glove box. I've used the aux with my portable XM (I like Cinemagic, which strangely exists on Sirius but its 24/7 disco instead of movie scores, and for Opie and Anthony since can't get the Best of XM during the free 6 months) and just bought an ipod touch. As far as I can tell the ipod does charge when connected so thankfully I don't have the problem most people mention here.
The question is, the ipod volume is kinda low so I wonder, with the ipod connected can I also connect the the head set output to the aux input so it will increase the volume? Or does having the ipod connected through the adapter cancel out the aux input?
I guess I should just try it out, but will I damage anything by connecting both inputs?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks morph860, thats good to know. Now I can leave both the ipod and the XM connected and just turn one off when I want to use the other. Assuming that with the power off on the ipod it will not "register" as connected... I will try it out today.
BTW I just downloaded XM for my BB which is only 2.99 (something like that) a month so I can get rid of my full price roady and it's external antenna from the C300, save money by cancelling that full subscription and still get O&A/Cinemagic.
I have to call Sirius to find out when I can get the best of XM. I assume our base audio systems satellite equipment allows the addition of best of XM. Has anyone added that to their Sirius subscription. Unfortunately that still won't give me Cinemagic, just O&A.

Well Gorica79.. You might want to restate your questions a bit because you clearly say " where i can find the aux imput.. Same for the iPod". You actually said where can I find. Perhaps I must put a emphasis on FIND.
In you're question you never said iPod kit.. Anyways what is a iPod kit? A iPod starter kit? What?
