Super/turbo charger for C350

Has anyone found a forced induction kit for the 3.5L engine that comes in a 2008 C350?

Nope. There probably won't be one any time soon unless you find a shop/tuner to make em for you. Probably will require quite the amount of $$$$$$ though.

custom it, though u would need aftermarket ECU, is there any ECU out there that can tune our engines?

I am no engine expert but I am pretty sure our compression ratio is way to high to allow us to bolt on any sort of blower without doing something with the pistons/rings.

You'll have to custom it. It's been done on the m272 engine before I believe. It'll have to be a remote turbo though as there really is no room in the engine bay.

usually ppl solve it with thicker head gasket if they don't wanna touch it too much, but with the right tunning it should do fine, still I haven't heard of any tuning ECU with preset map for the engine, you fellow american have the term "power chip" though I doubt it means aftermarket ECU?? probably has to settle with Link that has no base map = long, painful and expensive tune?

A guy posted about a twin turbo search for "C35 OMG". Changed to a 3mm head gasket:

Musselman makes a low pressure kit for C-Class; some shop in Cali quoted me around 7k.

The stock doubt the stock ECU can even handle turbocharging and AEM doesn't make a standalone for this and a MOTEC ecu would just be a joke. The turbo would have to be a rear mount like the ones in the STS turbo kits used on C6 Vettes. Save yourself the headache(S) and get a C63.

I am thinking about doing a rear mount turbo. Talks are in the works.

I agree. It can be done if you got the cash to do it. I am currently prepping my vehicle to include a turbo and be done with the car and work on exterior mods. I believe reintech has a super charger for 10k.

I tried to lookup that C350 W203 Twin Turbo that was built in Cape Town for Karo on the W203 forum. It apparently went like hell but had left town.

Getting the ECU right is a nightmare.

My only real complaint about that installation was going spacer gaskets to drop CR. It does nasty things to squish.

Anyway I can confirm that it was done successfully
