Crack on side mirror signal...suggestions?

I have a '09 C300 and i have a crack on the passenger side turn signal on the mirror. The dealership said it wouldn't be covered under warranty and that I have to pay for everything.

Here's the quote I got:
Part: $52
Labor: $103...

Total after tax was like $167...

Anyone know how to replace the mirror turn signal??
Can't find any instructions online.

I'm trying to replace them because there's condensation inside the light...

Thanks a lot.

PS. I've uploaded a photo...

Warranty, its a known issue with the w204. Mine were covered.
I first brought it up and was denied but then they called back saying it was a known issue and that it was to be covered.

At first the guys at my dealer refused to change it, but the manager of the dealer was passing by and he swapped both mine for free.

I tried to do that with the dealership too and they are like "We cannot do it because there is a crack on it." "I would love to do it for you but the dealership gets charged for it. So we don't do it anymore." "Since it's a crack, it's not covered under warranty."
I got that from the dealership.

Also the rep at the dealer said that I must have hit something or something must have hit the signal.
But there's no sign of getting hit (when I touch the cracked area, I don't feel any damage)

What's the "known" issue with W204?? (as said by Envyxc350)

The issue is with the plastic drying out and cracking. I had exactly the same problem you have. I could not feel the crack because nothing hit the lens, its a manufacturing error. Should pressure the dealership more.

If you don't get it covered, you can do it yourself, but you have to take the mirror glass out first, which is risky. If you crack that, then you will end up paying a lot more than you would have by just paying the dealer to replace the lens.

No, they're different on every model. I will try to find out though. But even if you know how, it usually takes a lot of force, so there is always a risk of cracking it. The auto dimming mirror glass can be VERY expensive too.

Okay, 204 mirrors look pretty straightforward. It looks like you just push in on the bottom of the glass and pull out the top of the glass until it unhooks. I would be sure to use all 4 fingers when pulling on the glass to spread out the force. Installation should be the reverse.
