Cornering Foglight Function w/ HID Kit?

Hey guys. I'm about to install my HID fogs sometime soon and I was wondering for those of us who have the corner illuminating foglights from the P2 package, whether that function still works or not when the kit is installed. If it doesn't, does it throw an error message? Chances are I'll probably just drive with them on now that they're HID. However, would it be possible to disable this function? I don't really like having the lights come on seeing as I leave my lights on auto and whenever I turn/signal, it looks like the other foglight is broken or something. (Even my dad thought so)

get a kit with the error canceller.

you can disable it with STAR.

Got the error cancellers. No clue what STAR is. I'll do some research.

yes if you keep it to A whichever direction you turn, the fog will come on, if you turn to the right twice pull once, the fogs will stay on, both will be on when making turns.

Thanks. Yeah I looked it up and I'm probably not going to bother with that sort of hassle. I'll just manage.

A friend of mine had a few connections with a brand called KLight. I don't think anyone on these forums have used from em before so I guess I'll be the first.

Thanks Kev. Haha. Already knew that but most of the time I like to keep my car in auto so that the surround lights come on when I unlock the car and such. I guess I'll just have to be THAT much less lazy.

there are couple ppl in SoCal that has the STAR diagnostic...namely Karo who has a 203 c350. you can probably ask him to help you out.

the stupid cornering fog lamp feature is what made me debated on whether to get lighting package or not. ultimately ended up without it. figure i can always upgrade the tail lights to LED later on.

Yeah it's rather worthless IMO. My dad bugs me about it everytime I back out of his driveway in the morning. He's always chases me down before I pull away and tells me that one of my foglights went out. -_- I guess I'll just manage though, but I'll keep that in mind Frank. Thanks for the info.
