Yup, the piece broke off of my 2011 C300 and I took it to the dealer and they fixed it for free in about an hour.

Cup Holder

Bought an MB certified pre-owned '11 C300 and one of the cup holder cup size-adjustment 'buttons' had some gunk in it and would pop out slower than the rest after placing a drink in it so I did take into the dealership. They told me that it had some sort of gunk or sticky stuff from the previous owner that just wasnt caught by Certified inspection or any detailers along the way. They replaced the entire cupholder assembly within an hour and threw in a $20 gift card to a local restaurant.

Thread from the dead! I just replaced my top trim due to peeling silver trim and noticed 2 of the spring retention 'things' are missing. My car is well out of warranty. Anyone able to point to a how-to and part #s to fix? Thanks!

You can't buy it new by itself. You must order the entire assembly if you want new. If lucky, it might be discovered inside the center console after careful disassembly.

I need the cupholder assembly as well but the only part number I could find appears to be for pre-facelift models.

204-680-23-91

Mine doesn't look like that, but I cannot find anything with a part number for what I have. Mine looks like the jon3sh's in the first post. Anyone else have any luck? Thanks

So, in case anyone wants this info for the future, this is what I found. You can just replace the cupholders. It is part of the storage compartment armrest and you need to buy the whole piece to change it out. It seems to have 3 part numbers:

2046801939, 2076801096, 2076800039

It seems to be relatively easy to change out and you can even change the bezel for a different look. The part number for the bezel is 204-680-03-07.

In case you still need it the storage compartment armrest with the cupholder is

2046801939, 2076801096 and 2076800039.

The bezel that has the trim that peels away is 204-680-03-07.

Silver trim is part of the bezel. Part number is 204-680-03-07 and you can just google it. Any Mercedes dealer seems to carry and they run about $20 and appear to be easy to change out. You just pull it forward toward the gear shift and it pops off.

Is there a cupholder bezel for the manual transmissions? Pre-FL? LHD?

Actually I guess the cupholders are the same for the automatics and manuals since the piece isn't the entire console, just from the shifter to the armrest? I must've been getting confused between the pre-FL to the post-FL models.
