install laser jammer M27 w/ pics

Hi
just read a thread talk about install laser jammer m27.

i'v installed this jammer for 8 month.
everything works fine. saved me 4 times. one big save on highway-2 from Calgary to Edmonton. i was doing 190km/h. wont do it any more. life worth more then anything.

here is how i install the laser jammer.

from pic 1 you can see i install it under the grill and just below the bummper and cut tow holes on the lower grill.

secure them with mounting tool come with m27.

now we need to wire these up.
i walk through the wires beside the radiator(not beside the big fan behind it). took off the radiator cover, walk the wires through the seal rubber on the driver's side(you can took it off too, put wires inside the seal rubber and put it back).

use some glue to install the control unit. i put it just below the windshield inside the engine bay you can see from pic 2.

connect the heads to the control unit.

now is a big challenge. you have to install the switch and led light in side your car.

what i do is put wires though firewall. you can see from where i install control unit. look down from there inside the engine bay. there is black button. you took off, you can go wires through inside the car.(i will provide pic later).

once you done that ,you almost done.
attach the led and switch and beeper any where you want by screws or type, you decide. i put them under the steering wheel. looks clean and easy to operate.

sorry for my poor English. still working on it.

reply this topic or sent pm if you have any Q.

thanks guys, i learned a lot from this site, now it's time to contribute.

So why did you install them so low and not in the black grill. It seems like a perfect place to install them, because not only are they in a more ideal place, but there's a nice slot size and the grill is black...

just give an idea how/where to install, you can install anywhere you want!
behind the grill is good place if your grill without the "net stuff"

is there a reason you picked that low? is it better or worse protection wise?

its not legal in many province in canada, so i dont want make trouble when driving outside my province.
there is no difference if you install it high or low.

it saved me 4 times, from different angle and speed. so i think that spot is good enough.
i just like hide it secret.

Can you remove them and put them on another car?

Hi I have a 2010 C300 and its a lease but I just got a speeding ticket and want that to be the last one I ever get so lets say I have to bring the car back when the lease is up are still able to take out the laser jammers and transfer them to another car. Thanx Al

Buddy had this on his GTI....worked wonders. Then again his gti was orange, blacked out windows, loud magnaflow exhaust. You could hear and see him from far away. He got it to go back and forth on the NYS Thruway. (lots and lots of troopers)
