Pictures of 2011 C63 AMG
Hi guys (and girls),
Went to my local MB dealership today to "look around" and saw this. I think I'm in love.

I would have imagined that the across the line c-class face lift would coincide with a more E-63esque front bumper set up -LEDDRL with all the lights integrated into the main housing- for the AMG model as well.

Yeah, I thought it was kind of strange that the C63 did not have the LED DRL's. I guess they are keeping it old school as far as that goes.

LED DRL look rice no matter the car.
Full LED Drl, High/Low lighting will impress. Until then don't worry about Audi sticking LED strips on dressed up VWs.

Not sure how LED DRLs would look rice....seeing as euro cars were the first ones to pioneer them. The ones that look rice would be the LED strips that companies like iJDMtoy sell for cheap. Those are the ones you see old '96 Hondas at the local minimall. But as they mentioned above, I really thought they would do something like they did on the E63, where they incorporated a straight line LED DRL on both sides instead of the hockey stick-esque DRLs.

I am actually quite surprised MB did not accelerate LED high lows to production VS following VW. Oh well - whatever sells I guess.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Actually Saab was first to use the light strip in the headlights. Anyway, I saw a new C350 with the LED driving lights. They just look out of place to me; like an afterthought. I think I like the Carlsson set up with the fog light and LEDs. Just my .02.

You guys crack me up....
400+ hand-built hp under the hood, AMG brakes and suspension all around, a butter-smooth tranny capable of handling said HP, and you guys debate the car's lighting.
It's arguably the best sports sedan in production. And a bit of a sleeper...

I don't like the chintzy looks of the C63 & ugly bulbous rear, but oh what an engine! I could play tunes on that thing all day.
With emissions tax just introduced in SA I will stick to our C350.

Those aren't brake pads they're rotors and that happens on any new or old car with steel rotors that has just been washed/rained on and left to sit. It's a 2010/2011 from the looks of the new mirrors and what the OP said. Also the LED comments are pretty laughable, but typical w204 talk I suppose....when looking at an AMG. Facelift for the c-class isn't set until 2012 at the earliest I'm guessing.

Sorry for my bad english about the brakes. Man my steel rotors were just fine even after 10000km....
Don't know if its important but I'm in EU , that car is basicaly what you can get from a '09 C63...... ( LED rear signal included !! )
