Well, I left the deposit to secure the car and have a buyers order at the bank... First time Mercedes owner, tell me how I did.

New 2010 - $31k - Arctic white, Black MB Tex, Burl walnut, Auto trans, P1 package, iPod kit.

Thinking about the 18's (are these staggard?) and a spoiler for the trunk... what kind of tires usually come with these or is it just the rims... Let me know...

Thanks, Mark

Hey Mark,
Congrats on making the leap to MB and welcome to the forum. Sounds like you did pretty well on the deal. What was your list price?

The 18s are staggard 18x8 front 18x9 rear with 225 and 255 cross sections. You will likely get Conti Sports or Michelin Pilots from the factory.

Thanks man! I've been lurking for awhile gathering intel from you guys. No one knows more about cars than the forums. I had a serious man-crush for a 2010 C63 (even bought the AutoArt scale model), but that will have to wait... You know... I don't know what sticker was because it's being ordered. I knew I didn't want to spend over 31 and I knew that invoice was ~33k. I only requested the basics with auto and had asked for the stock trim. The dealer (MB of Tampa), called back with car as listed above and we struck a deal. Added up, I get $36,295. (KBB).

Thanks for the info on the wheels! I'm going see what the add-on will be. I couldn't get that kind of price for those wheels and tires on the street.

Sounds like a good deal...

Whoops...you are correct.

The 18" option is:
Front: 225/40 18 on an 8" wheel
Rear: 255/35 18 on an 8.5 wheel

I'd try to negotiate better wheels now if you really want them. If you want Mercedes OEM wheels, they are crazy expensive after the fact.

Otherwise, sounds like a fun car. Honestly, people are getting good deals now, but 31k for a C Class Mercedes. When you think about it, thats a pretty good value. Mine is nearing 3 years old, and I love it.

Thanks for the info... and done... I have a call into the dealer to ask what the upcharge would be. Invoice on them is $949, hoping for lower - but still couldn't get them for that price after delivery...

Yeah, that is going to save you a fortune even if you have to pay $949. I wish I could have done that.

congrats on the car.

you can always pick up someone's C63 oem wheels or the E-coupe 7-dual spokes for not much more than how much you will spent on reps with new tires.

optional 18" are 18x8 et50 and 18x8.5 et54. C63's are 18x8 et46 and 18x9 et54. just get something +/- of those spec you should have no issue.

Thank you! How was your buying experience? I'm up in Ocala, but lived in Tampa for 25yrs. I had to shop there for the car because the MB dealers around me were lame. Who was your rep? I have Bernie F. - really nice guy and on the ball... M.

Pretty, pretty close - those look "great" on your car! Your wheels look like the 810's or are they the 814's like the wheels I want? Who did your TPMS? M.
