my headlights were a complete D2S retrofit- so it should fit!

 

You should check out bimmerxenon.com
They make oem xenon look a like bulbs with no balast. Just pop the old bulb out and put this in, no error message. I installed them on my car a few days after I bought it because I hated the yellow look with the super white LED fogs. Here's a pic. $40 dollars well spent, cheaper than the retrofits or whatever.

 

Steezin, you can never compare halogen bulbs to HIDs. It may be the same in terms of the colour but the output is day and night difference.

 

I won't argue that at all. Kinda makes me pissed off how my friends cheap acuras have xenons standard and it's an option on Mercedes'. Even my moms gl had a lighting package. Unacceptable but i guess its the name ehh

 

I feel you mate. Don't understand why Benz won't make xenon standard when even cars like Camry's have them...
