Cars and Copters is always a great show for a great cause. My friends are the ones who put the show on.

YR did a great job this year, there were over 800 cars in and out! I'll have to try to find out how much money they raised, I hope they did well.

I hope so too. They could have done better, however...I heard the people going around asking for donations to the Jimmy Fund were being laughed at by attendees. That's pretty ****ty in a lot of ways, especially for a free show.

I heard that too, what a bunch of losers ! I was thinking they should have photographed and posted them and their cars and let the forums have their way with them. That would have been priceless. Are you going to Mercedes Day at Larz Anderson in a few weeks? I may try to make it over there.

Not going to Larz, our order isn't due in until late November, prior to which we need to sell the RX-8 to even make it happen. I also have a detail (my weekend business) scheduled that day, fittingly a show prep for a C230 Kompressor Sport

Is that the C230K Sport on your website? That car looks amazing! I just realized that MB Day is this Sunday, I won't be able to make it over there either.

Just saw this thread. I was there but I can't see your original image, it's not showing up. I have a steel grey C300 with tinted windows and smoked side markers. Is that what you had put up?

Exactly! You have a great looking car! I was hoping you would chime in so I could ask you where you had your windows tinted, I need to get mine done ASAP.
