Farewell to my fellow C350/300 owners!!
I have bit the bullet and have committed myself to the land of AMG's!! A Steel Grey Metallic / AMG Grey leather C63 was calling my name and I couldn't ignore it any longer. My C350 has been with me for quite a memorable 11 and a half months. lol I believe this Beast and me were destined to be together.
I had relegated myself to taking the raping without the lubricant by the dealership for my trade....but 1 hour after I made my commitment to buy, a friend called me up asking for help to find him a car because he had just sold his TSX. He found out I was going to trade in my 4600 mile C350 for an *** raping, he asked if he could buy it from me. I was quite happy to oblige. My baby has been properly broken in and I'm at peace knowing that it is going to a good home.

Yaaaaah~ I heard about the amazing 15K+ discount on 2010 C63 going on now. And I want one, too~~!! But it killed my idea of getting a C63 when I was told by the dealer that I was only gonna get 26K-28K on the trade of my 4 months new C300.

It's not too late because I have another C63 all negotiated and ready to go. Sit down and prepare first....if 15k was going to motivate you to buy one....this one has 17.3k iin trunk money. lol Black/black amg leather, multimedia, p2, teleaid, keyless go. And best of all...it only has 54 miles on the odo right now.

The process was more arduous than I had anticipated. I was phoning all over the East coast for a C63 that matched my needs. Many sales ppl give u the run around and accuse you of being a dealer when you ask them for a "punched" car. Many would only come close to the 15k price and try to make you feel like they are doing you a favor. NYC dealers seem to offer only around 12.5-14k off msrp.

wooww.. Jeff, you are tempting me. lol. Thanks for the info. 17.3k trunk money, ok, I gotta consider about it seriously now. I see you are selling your C350, to you friend eventually, but would you mind telling me how much the dealer valued your trade? The only factor stopping me from buying a C63 is the trade of my C300. I would lose 15K on my trade, which makes the trunk money on C63 meaningless...

That's the most I could do because of the trunk money on 2010 C's right now. I hope that helps you out. I figured...lose a few bucks and you get it back in the C63. I have one too many "reasonable" cars. Time for something stupid that gets me giggles just by hearing the car start up.

Congrats with the great purchase. I am not sure whether this is a specific USA thing but I have not heard of such rebates/discount in Canada? with that kinda discount i would be very tempted as well.
