Dr Color Chip for 2011
I have a (small) scratch on my car that I am going to repair with Dr Color Chip. There doesn't appear to be an option for 2011 C Class vehicles on the Dr Color Chip website: http://www.drcolorchip.com/select-model.php
Anybody know if the 2010 Palladium Silver is the same as the 2011 Palladium Silver?
Edit: Meant to say that I have no idea what I will be ordering if I use the 'My Car is Not in this List' link. Has anybody ordered it for a vehicle not in 'the list' ?

I have bought from Dr. Color Chip, and their color matching is exact and their customer service has been very good.
Give them a call and explain you have a color that's not on their 2011 list, they will help you out.

C300 Sport/Palladium Silver on Black/P2
I spent so much money with Dr. Color Chip. The only thing I buy there now is brushes and thats because I'm too lazy to find somewhere else to get them.
The paint they use is REALLY soft, and their solution can only be used with their soft paint.
The better solution I've found is to get the Mercedes factory touch up paint, it is made in Germany.
Then get LANGKA product. Apply the touch up paint every so tiny and lightly (use a smaller brush than Mercedes supplies), and then after an appropriate amount of time, use the langka blob eliminator with plastic card to remove the blob.
I've had more success with this.
If the chip is just right, Dr Color Chip might work.
In truth though, these things can feel like a waste of money to some extent. Don't spend too much on them.
Factory touch up and Langka is worth having around for me though.
I would also caution people to be very careful using these products and don't do too much at once. A tiny chip isn't as bad as blobs of paint.

What is Dr. Colorchip? ![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
If it's simply a touch-up paint, I'd recommend the straight up M-B touch-up paint from M-B themselves. You can get them at any Dealer.

Dr. Color Chip is a paint touchup system, specifically for paint chips and deep scratches or gouges. It doesn't work on scrapes, light scraches or abrasions well.
After prepping the surface according to the instructions, you apply the specially formulated paint with the included syringe or fine brush, let the paint sit for a few minutes, then wipe the excess off with the included squeegie blade or rubber glove which produces a smooth layer of paint that's flush with the existing paint surface.
That's why this system is better for chips and deep scratches as the process involves removing just the right amount of paint. I have used Dr. Color Chip primarily on the rock chips on my hood and bumper of my car and the results are great -- barely noticable on the large chips and invisible on the small chips.
I also have touch up paint and spray cans from Paintscratch for my other touch up needs, and it has worked well for me and it's another great quality product.

I have the palladium silver too. Got a coupleof paint chips on the hood from highway driving, found the paint on http://www.touchuppaintonline.com/Mercedes-Benz/C-Class for $11 and just applied them using the end of a toothpick (or you can use their brush). Turned out looking pretty good
