Another Quad Exhaust Tip Install
I don't even want to add up the cost of what this cost me, lol. I bought a used diffuser and set of exhaust tips, then headed over to Mike's Muffler in El Monte where 'Danny' knocked out the installation. I gotta say it looks sweet now in person. It obviously makes me think of a C63 and I can only imagine how sweet it must feel to drive one. But it's all show here.....
He completely removed the stock tip from the muffler because when adding the 2nd tip it wasn't centered. So there was a bit of custom work done.
Stock tip was removed and custom "S" style pipe was made so that it would place the original muffler tip a little bit more to the outside of the diffuser and allow the 2nd muffler tip to be added, and both centered in the space for them.
THE BEFORE WITH THE DIFFUSER

Hzkasbarian: when you mount the diffuser and the new pipes, you'll see what i'm talking about. they are not going to be centered and too close to the inside of the diffuser. He used the same size piping it has...just made custom cuts for a custom fitment.
stm: no way buddie! no imposter here. i'll save up for one instead =) I just really like that look.
Trunk Lip being installed later today -and that's enough spending for now.
