Can any explain this for me?

I just got a pair of JDM 8000K 35W D1S for my headlights...

While i was installing it I took a little sneak peak of how it would look and got this...

(Left is 8000K and Right is Stock)

Pretty impressive but when i put both of them in... the blueish color died down quite abit...

(Both 8000k)

I was wondering if this was normal or did i mess up on sth

I am not the expert here, but I believe the lights become less blue as they warm up.

Though I was always under the assumption that 8K was bluer than the color in your pictures

Yea.. I expected them to be bluer too.. They look good but I think they'd look sicker if they were bluer

If you have the time, call the company and say that the bulbs you received aren't 8K. Ask to have them exchanged for 10K.

With both lights on, your camera's auto white balance probably compensated and made the light look more white. Take the photos with AWB set to off.

^ What he said. Your eyelid turned white from blue too in the second pic?

I have 55w 8000k h7 kit, they are very blue, and within 3 seconds turn more white.

Your bulb will change color to more white after a few seconds + your projector will make it look blue from a distance but white if you look at it closely. That's 8000k now if you want bluer you might have to go with 10000k
