just tried the aux out with what i had. here are my results
i dont know what went wrong. in this cable the yellow and white carry audio
the red carries the video
when i plug it in the image is fussy and unstable. u can kinda see the image, so for its a good sign of acutally having video on from the aux input but it just does not work. i don't know if it was because if what i used or what not.
i have 1 2010 c300 with the multimedia package.
has anybody gotten this to work?
OK new link now working from Mobileme.

I mean so far it's not a negative nor positie result. Maybe there was just too much interference with my laptop and the adapter and cable. Once I got the 3.5 mm to female 3 RCA I'm going to plug in my digital camera. Hopefully I can get image.
If that does work I will then buy a tv tuner. I'll keep you guys posted. If all this works eventually my next step is going to install the video in drive. I'm gonna have to save some cash thoe
Plug in a camcorder or playback some photos from your digi cam into the AUX and see if that plays back on the car display if that works then it narrwos it more down to the source.

If you are only looking for video and no audio, it may be best to try s-video, since your mac connector has this output on it. In my opinion, you have too many adapters, and each adapter degrades signal quality. Try to find and adapter that will get whatever you are trying to play video from to connect to your car in one shot.
That's why I order a 3.5 mm to 3rca female end. I'm still waiting on it to arrive.
What I want to do is both video and audio and that MacBook was they only thing that I had to test out the cable in my car. I plan on using my camcorder to test it out again with the new cable I order so hopefully I get a positive result.
